Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join our school in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in English, a B.Ed., and a minimum of 4 years of experience teaching English at the primary level. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a love for the English language, guiding young students in developing strong literacy skills, and creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that cater to the individual needs of primary-level students.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the curriculum requirements.
• Implement engaging teaching methods that promote active learning and improve students’ reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Regularly assess and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to express themselves.
• Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Stay updated on best practices in English education for young learners.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in English (MA) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Primary English Teacher.
• Strong knowledge of primary-level English language instruction and child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and capable of inspiring young learners.
• Strong classroom management skills.
