We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified PGT Economics Teacher to join our CBSE school in Pothanur, Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Economics and a passion for teaching, with the ability to inspire and educate senior secondary students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE Economics curriculum for classes XI and XII.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and in-depth understanding of Economics concepts.
• Prepare students for board examinations through effective teaching strategies, regular assessments, and practice sessions.
• Design and implement creative teaching aids and methods to make the subject interesting and relatable.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, activities, and staff meetings.
• Stay updated with developments in Economics and integrate relevant advancements into teaching.
• Support and guide students in academic and career planning related to Economics and higher studies.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: MA in Economics and BEd (Economics).
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years teaching experience as a PGT Economics Teacher in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE Economics syllabus and exam patterns.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to connect with students.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching aids and technology.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in preparing students for competitive exams in Economics (optional).
• Involvement in academic research or educational projects.
