Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary English Teacher to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to primary students, fostering a love for literature, language, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the IGCSE curriculum.

Student Assessment: Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.

Resource Development: Develop and utilize a variety of teaching materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum changes.

Extracurricular Activities: Support and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and educational trips that enrich student learning.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification or diploma in education is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably within the IGCSE curriculum.

Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

Teaching Skills: Strong pedagogical skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Creativity: Ability to develop creative and innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.

Technology: Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
