Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Maths Teacher to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths instruction in line with the IGCSE curriculum, inspiring students, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum, ensuring all learning objectives are met.

Lesson Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that accommodate the diverse needs of students.

Assessment: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.

Student Support: Provide additional support to students who require extra help with Maths, including organizing remedial sessions.

Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Maths education and the IGCSE curriculum.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching Maths at the primary level, preferably within the IGCSE curriculum.

Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IGCSE curriculum and its application in a primary school setting.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in educational technology and digital tools that enhance Maths instruction.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
