Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our CBSE school on Sarjapur Road, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience teaching English to senior secondary classes and a deep understanding of the CBSE curriculum. This role is critical in preparing students for academic excellence and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons for senior secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12).
• Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum and standards.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature and language in students.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations by providing rigorous academic training and support.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
• Organize and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities related to English literature and language.
• Provide individual support to students to address their academic challenges and nurture their potential.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in English education and incorporate them into teaching.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in English (MA) and Bachelor of Education (BEd).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a PGT English Teacher in a CBSE school.
• Profound knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and its requirements.
• Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring senior secondary students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Experience in integrating technology into teaching practices.
