Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school on Sarjapur Road, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive teaching experience in CBSE schools and a passion for fostering academic excellence in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Chemistry for senior secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12) as per the CBSE curriculum.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with CBSE guidelines and promote a deeper understanding of Chemistry concepts.
  • Prepare students for board exams by conducting regular tests, providing feedback, and ensuring conceptual clarity.
  • Use innovative teaching methods, including digital tools, to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster an interactive and stimulating classroom environment to encourage active participation.
  • Conduct practical lab sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and guide students in performing experiments.
  • Evaluate and assess students’ progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Collaborate with other subject teachers and participate in curriculum development and school events.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field of Chemistry and integrate relevant developments into teaching.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry (MSc).
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a PGT Chemistry Teacher in a CBSE school.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and examination pattern.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Strong ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning purposes.
