Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PGT Biology Teacher to join our CBSE school located on Sarjapur Road, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Biology, a passion for teaching, and proven experience in delivering the CBSE curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Biology lessons for senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote scientific thinking and curiosity among students.
• Prepare students for board exams by providing thorough guidance, practice, and revision.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies, including hands-on experiments, digital tools, and visual aids to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters, fostering a love for the subject.
• Maintain an organized and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Stay updated with advancements in the subject and integrate innovative teaching strategies.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree (MSc) in Biology or a related field.
• Bachelor of Education (BEd) is mandatory.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a PGT Biology Teacher in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE syllabus and exam pattern.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching aids and technology.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
