Job Title: School Administrator/Operational Manager

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Salary: Up to 75,000 INR (Salary depends on experience, last drawn salary, and interview performance)

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Budget Management: Prepare annual and monthly budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Property Management: Conduct periodic inspections and daily briefings for effective property upkeep.
  3. Facilities Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of sports facilities including football court, basketball court, skating rink, running track, and swimming pool.
  4. Transportation Coordination: Manage end-to-end transportation for students and staff.
  5. Staff Training: Arrange regular training sessions for both academic and non-academic staff.
  6. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and implement SOPs for various administrative processes.
  7. Cafeteria Management: Ensure smooth operations and quality service in the school cafeteria.
  8. Travel Arrangements: Make hotel and travel arrangements for school-related activities.
  9. Housekeeping and Maintenance: Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff, determining workloads and schedules.
  10. Equipment Maintenance: Manage maintenance activities for school equipment and properties including networking systems, water purifiers, fire extinguishers, etc.
  11. Event Coordination: Arrange logistics for special events such as orientation, PTA meetings, workshops, and sports day.
  12. Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors, ensure timely service delivery, and manage payments.
  13. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records related to vendors, contracts, and payments, and prepare MIS reports as required.
  14. Parent Interaction: Meet with parents to address queries and concerns related to administrative services.
  15. Fixed Asset Management: Monitor the movement and maintenance of school assets.
  16. Inventory Control: Manage inventory of uniforms, shoes, curriculum materials, and sports equipment.
  17. Communication: Take minutes of meetings, handle correspondence, and follow up on assigned tasks.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Community Engagement: Organize and participate in education fairs, carnivals, and events at nearby apartments.
  2. Promotion: Promote the school through visits to banks, apartments, hospitals, and distribution of promotional materials.
  3. Tie-ups: Visit neighboring kindergarten schools for potential tie-ups and engagement in events.
  4. Admissions: Respond to inquiries related to admissions, conduct school tours for parents, and disseminate admission information through bulk mail and SMS.
  5. Competitor Analysis: Generate reports on competitor analysis.
