Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced English Teacher to join our team at an ICSE school located in Peenya, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching English in an ICSE school environment. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students up to 10th grade, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the overall academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students up to 10th grade.
• Utilize creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students and enhance their language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the ICSE curriculum guidelines and school policies.
• Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other forms of assessment, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and curriculum development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school administration regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English in an ICSE school setting.
• Strong understanding of the ICSE curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.

Salary:
The salary for this position is up to Rs. 40,000/- per month. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, previous salary, and performance in the interview.
