Role Overview:

The Program Lead for CIDTL will oversee the design, implementation, and quality assurance of the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL) program. The role involves leading training initiatives, providing mentorship, ensuring high program standards, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive the success of the CIDTL program.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Delivery

Develop and implement the CIDTL curriculum in alignment with Cambridge International standards.

Design program modules, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and support participants’ professional growth in teaching and learning.

Schedule and manage program delivery, overseeing sessions, assessments, and completion timelines.

2. Training and Mentorship

Conduct workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions with participants, providing guidance on effective teaching practices and strategies.

Mentor faculty and participants, supporting their professional development and encouraging reflective teaching practices.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the CIDTL program meets Cambridge International’s standards.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on program effectiveness and participant progress, conducting periodic audits as required.

Develop and administer assessment tools that evaluate participant learning and program impact.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary liaison between the institute and Cambridge International, facilitating updates, certifications, and compliance requirements.

Build strong working relationships with faculty, institute leadership, and external stakeholders to foster program support and development.

5. Research and Development

Keep abreast of the latest trends in teaching and learning, integrating new research and practices into the CIDTL curriculum.

Lead or participate in research initiatives that drive program improvement and innovation.

6. Promotion and Outreach

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the CIDTL program, attracting educators interested in advanced certification.

Engage with local educational institutions to build partnerships that support program expansion and outreach.

7. Resource Management

Oversee program resources, including budgeting, staffing, and materials, ensuring effective use and availability of teaching resources and digital tools.

8. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain comprehensive records of program activities, assessments, and participant data.

Prepare regular reports on program progress, participant performance, and outcomes for institute leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. A doctorate is preferred.

CIDTL certification or equivalent qualification in teaching and learning is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role, preferably in an international educational setting.

Experience with Cambridge International programs or equivalent international teaching frameworks is strongly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and effective teaching methodologies.

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.

Proficiency in quality assurance processes, with a track record of maintaining high standards in educational programs.
