Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our school in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will hold an MSc in Mathematics and a BEd, with over 6 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students achieve excellence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for senior classes in accordance with the curriculum.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that engage and challenge students.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and relatable manner, adapting to students’ varied learning needs.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare students for board exams by ensuring a strong understanding of core mathematics concepts.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
• Maintain a disciplined and positive classroom environment to optimize learning.
• Inspire a love for mathematics and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
• Stay updated with advancements in mathematics education and integrate best practices into teaching.

Requirements:

• MSc in Mathematics and BEd degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Mathematics Teacher at the senior secondary level.
• In-depth knowledge of mathematics curriculum and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and productive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
