Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Geography Teacher to join our school in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have an MA and BEd, along with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Geography. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore and appreciate geographical concepts and promote a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons for middle school students.
• Design and implement instructional materials and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive teaching methodologies.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and active participation.
• Assess and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive educational experience for students.
• Stay updated on trends in Geography education and incorporate relevant practices into teaching.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MA) in Geography.
• Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Geography Teacher.
• Strong understanding of Geography concepts and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
