Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Primary Computer Teacher to join our school in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of teaching experience in primary computer education, along with an MSc and BEd qualification. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to helping young students develop a strong foundation in computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons to primary school students.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and encourage active learning.
• Teach students foundational computer concepts, including basic programming, digital literacy, and safe internet usage.
• Create a positive and interactive learning environment to foster student engagement and growth.
• Evaluate students’ performance and provide feedback to enhance their learning and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and submit required reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and address any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to school activities.
• Keep up to date with advancements in computer science education and integrate relevant practices into teaching.
• Ensure the safety and security of all students in the computer lab.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Computer Science or related field.
• Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Primary Computer Teacher.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals suitable for primary school teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
