Job Title: Physics Teacher

Location: Sarjapur, Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Salary: ₹45,000 to ₹70,000 per month (Final salary depends on experience, qualifications, and interview performance)

Job Description:

An International School, located in Sarjapur, Bangalore, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics education, a commitment to fostering student learning and development, and the ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective physics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  2. Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to active learning and academic growth.
  3. Teach students various concepts and principles of physics, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
  4. Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students’ understanding of theoretical concepts and principles.
  5. Assess student learning through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  6. Develop and implement differentiated instruction to accommodate students with varying levels of proficiency and learning styles.
  7. Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning experiences, including the use of interactive simulations, multimedia resources, and educational software.
  8. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific inquiry among students through hands-on activities, projects, and discussions.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and participate in professional development opportunities.
  10. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students’ progress, achievements, and any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics or a related field from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience in physics at the secondary level is highly desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and contribute to the school community.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
