Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School English Teacher to join our CBSE school in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in English (MA) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with over 5 years of experience teaching English in a CBSE school. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality education and helping students develop strong language and literature skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to middle school students (grades 6-8) in line with the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans that address the diverse learning needs of students and align with CBSE standards.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to make English language and literature lessons interactive and enjoyable.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing timely feedback.
• Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Encourage the development of reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss students’ progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and incorporate the latest educational trends and best practices in teaching English.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in English (MA).
