Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Art and Craft Teacher to join our CBSE school in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Fine Arts or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore their creativity, develop their artistic skills, and express themselves through various forms of art and craft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art and craft lessons to students across different grade levels.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity and develops artistic skills in various mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, craft, etc.).
• Organize and lead hands-on activities and projects that foster students’ interest in art and craft.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Organize and participate in school art exhibitions, competitions, and other creative events.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and expression.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean art studio or classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art and craft projects with other subjects where applicable.
• Encourage students to explore different techniques and mediums in art and craft.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in art education and incorporate them into lessons.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Fine Arts or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Art and Craft Teacher.
• Strong knowledge of various art techniques, materials, and creative projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and nurture creativity in students of all ages.
