Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our CBSE school in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science (MCA/MSc) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with over 5 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to middle school students (grades 6 to 10) and helping them develop a strong foundation in technology and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students in grades 6 to 10.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, catering to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Teach coding, algorithms, computer programming, and IT skills using various platforms and technologies.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, projects, and tests, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage students to apply computer science knowledge to solve real-world problems.
• Create a positive, technology-rich classroom environment that fosters student interest and engagement in Computer Science.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Computer Science education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular activities that integrate technology.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Prepare students for CBSE board exams and other academic challenges.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science (MCA/MSc).
• Bachelor of Education (BEd).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a TGT Computer Science Teacher in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE Computer Science curriculum.
• Expertise in programming languages, coding, and technology tools.
