Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable PGT Economics Teacher to join our team at a well-established school in Podanur, Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Economics, with the ability to teach higher secondary classes, and should be passionate about educating young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Economics to students of higher secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12) in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that meet academic standards.
• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide additional support and guidance to students to help them excel in the subject.
• Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress, attendance, and academic achievements.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school activities and meetings.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Economics and incorporate them into the teaching process.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Prior experience in teaching Economics at the higher secondary level is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve academic success.
