Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our CBSE school located in JP Nagar 8th Phase, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics (MSc) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with over 5 years of teaching experience at the high school level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics education to students in grades 9 to 12, preparing them for board examinations and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for high school students (grades 9 to 12) in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring that all students can access and engage with the content.
Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to make complex mathematical concepts understandable and interesting.
Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support.
Prepare students for board examinations by providing rigorous academic training and effective exam strategies.
Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning and student participation.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on students’ progress and address any concerns.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Mathematics education and integrate relevant practices into teaching.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Mathematics (MSc).
Bachelor of Education (BEd).
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Mathematics Teacher, preferably at the high school level.
Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and Mathematics educational standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
