Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary English and EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher to join our school in Darwad, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in English or Environmental Studies (MA) along with a Bachelor of Education (BEd) and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a love for learning in young students.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English and EVS lessons for primary school students (Grades 1 to 5).
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to make learning interactive, enjoyable, and relevant to students’ everyday lives.
Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Foster students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in English, as well as their understanding of environmental concepts.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on students’ progress and address any concerns.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices in teaching English and EVS.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in English or Environmental Studies (MA).
Bachelor of Education (BEd).
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Primary English and EVS Teacher.
Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and educational best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
