Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Primary EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher to join our school in Churu, Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Environmental Studies to primary school students, fostering an understanding and appreciation of the environment and sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Environmental Studies lessons to primary school students (Grades 1 to 5).
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make learning interactive and enjoyable for students.
Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity about the environment.
Foster an understanding of environmental issues and sustainable practices among students.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on students’ progress and address any concerns.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices in teaching Environmental Studies.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc).
Bachelor of Education (BEd).
Minimum 2+ years of experience as an EVS Teacher, preferably at the primary level.
Strong knowledge of environmental science and related subjects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
