Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Mathematics and Computer Teacher to join our ICSE school located in Hebbal, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Computer Science (MSc) along with a Bachelor of Education (BEd) and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Computer Science to primary school students and will foster a supportive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Computer Science lessons to primary school students in accordance with the ICSE curriculum.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to make concepts in Mathematics and Computer Science accessible and engaging for young learners.
Assess and document students’ progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that supports student growth and development.
Manage classroom behavior in a positive and constructive manner, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Integrate technology into teaching to enhance learning experiences.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Stay updated with developments in the field of education and integrate relevant best practices into teaching.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mathematics or Computer Science (MSc).
Bachelor of Education (BEd).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Primary Teacher, preferably in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Strong knowledge of the ICSE curriculum and educational best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner for young students.
Enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
