Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Science Teacher to join our international school in Mysore. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science to primary school students, fostering a love for the subject, and creating a stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the primary school curriculum.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make science accessible and interesting to all students.
Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and a scientific mindset among students.
Assess and monitor students’ academic progress, providing feedback to guide their development.
Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate science with other subjects and school activities.
Keep accurate records of students’ progress and report regularly to parents and school management.
Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Previous experience teaching science at the primary level is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools and technology is an advantage.
