Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
Catalog and classify library materials.
Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources.
Promote and coordinate reading programs and activities.
Maintain an organized and conducive environment for reading and learning.
Oversee the inventory and ordering of new materials.
Provide training and support to students and staff on information literacy.
Ensure the proper use and care of library resources.
Requirements:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
Previous experience working in a library, preferably in an educational setting.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in using library management systems and software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for reading and promoting literacy among students.
