Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and experienced Social Science Teacher to join our school in Darwad, Karnataka, to teach middle school students (6th – 8th grade). The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Science (MA) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with at least 5 years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will be passionate about social sciences and skilled in engaging young students in meaningful and impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive Social Science lessons to middle school students.
Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs.
Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to support student learning and make lessons engaging and interactive.
Assess and document students’ progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Manage classroom behavior in a positive and constructive manner.
Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
Stay updated with developments in Social Science education and integrate relevant practices into teaching.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Science (MA).
Bachelor of Education (BEd).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Social Science Teacher.
