Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join a reputed CBSE/ICSE school in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have a strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a passion for guiding senior secondary students towards academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to senior secondary classes as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans
- Prepare students for board examinations with a focus on conceptual clarity
- Conduct assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support where required
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and parent-teacher interactions
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and teaching methodologies
Requirements:
- MSc in Mathematics (mandatory)
- BEd (mandatory)
- Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor students
