Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Studies Teacher for middle school (Grades 6–8) to join our CBSE-affiliated school in RT Nagar. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per CBSE norms and capable of delivering engaging, informative, and age-appropriate lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Social Studies lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare instructional materials, assessments, and assignments.
• Foster critical thinking, discussion, and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress regularly.
• Maintain a disciplined and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and professional development sessions.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
• Encourage awareness of current events and social responsibilities among students.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related fields.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Prior experience teaching Social Studies in a CBSE school is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning abilities.
• Passion for education and working with middle school learners.
