Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to promote physical activity, develop motor skills, and instill lifelong healthy habits in students. The PE teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, organize sports activities, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach students the principles of movement, physical fitness, health, and sportsmanship.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Organize and oversee sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular physical activities.
• Promote teamwork, leadership, and respect among students.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all physical activities.
• Maintain and inspect sports equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Collaborate with other staff members and contribute to school-wide health and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
• Stay up to date with current trends in physical education and integrate them into teaching practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/license (as per regional/state requirements).
• Proven experience as a PE teacher or in a similar role.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for physical education and student development.
