Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, manage, and update the library’s physical and digital collections.
• Guide students and staff in locating and using library resources effectively.
• Promote reading habits through book clubs, reading sessions, and library activities.
• Maintain proper records of issued and returned books.
• Ensure a quiet, welcoming, and well-managed library environment.
• Work with teachers to support curriculum and project-based learning.
• Recommend age-appropriate and curriculum-relevant reading materials.
• Handle inventory management and suggest new books/resources for purchase.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Library Science (B.Lib/M.Lib).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a school library (CBSE school preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with library management software and digital tools.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of different age groups.
