Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Waldorf/Mother Teacher for Grades 1 & 2 with a strong background in the CBSE curriculum to join our esteemed school in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience and be dedicated to fostering a holistic and nurturing learning environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Waldorf-inspired teaching methodologies to create an engaging and child-centered learning environment.
• Plan and deliver lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring a balance between academics and creative development.
• Act as a Mother Teacher, taking care of students’ overall growth, emotional well-being, and academic progress.
• Use storytelling, art, music, and hands-on activities to make learning joyful and meaningful.
• Observe and assess student progress, providing individual attention to ensure their academic and emotional development.
• Maintain an interactive and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity and love for learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Encourage a strong foundation in moral values, social skills, and discipline among students.
• Stay updated with innovative teaching methodologies and implement best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: BA/BSc with BEd (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
• Strong understanding of Waldorf teaching methodologies and holistic education.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their overall development.
